Meet Ms. Kimberly! 🩰✨
I am so happy to have Ms. Kimberly as another teacher highlight for #NationalArtsEducationWeek as she is someone who’s always been more than just a ballet teacher in my and so many other young girls lives.
While teaching ballet via zoom at home is much different than being in a studio, Ms. Kimberly shared that “this is a gifted opportunity to help her students and families during this time.”
Currently, Ms. Kimberly and 120 of her students are preparing an online version of the Nutcracker. Growing up, this holiday tradition was such a huge part of my life. It is so exciting to see how they are keeping the tradition alive and giving families something to look forward to this holiday season!
I loved hearing Ms. Kimberly share about the camaraderie amongst her students, as it really goes to show the healing powers of dance and the arts. Ballet is an incredible outlet for so many young dancers, allowing them to not only be creative but also break a sweat and release endorphins!
Thank you so much Ms. Kimberly for creating this space for your students to learn, heal, and grow 💕
