Hello there! I'm Kimberly Vernon, a proud Bay Area native with an unwavering passion for making a positive impact in the world. As Miss California 2024, I'm on a mission to bring the Miss America crown back to the golden state! 
 
My journey has been marked by resilience, determination, and an unyielding commitment to excellence.
I am a magna cum laude graduate from California State University Fullerton, where I double-majored in Theatre and Cinema Television Arts and minored in American Studies.

From captivating audiences across our country as a color guard performer and director to shaping young minds as an arts educator, I've left my mark on numerous esteemed organizations throughout California's vibrant arts scene. Currently, I proudly serve as a board member for the Arts Education Alliance Bay Area, championing accessible and equitable arts education through my community service initiative, "Arts for All."

The Miss America Opportunity has been a transformative force in my life, propelling me to embrace new opportunities and empowering me to embark on a career change. Today, I contribute my talents to Queenly, the largest online marketplace for formalwear, as a Marketing and Operations Associate. 

While I'm passionate about achieving success in my professional pursuits, I also find solace and joy in other endeavors. From cooking up yummy recipes to pushing my limits in Spartan races, I embrace life with an adventurous spirit. And of course, spending quality time with my favorite furry friend, my dog Copper.
