MISS AMERICA FIT

I am deeply committed to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. Each day, I prioritize my physical well-being and strive to challenge myself in new ways. I incorporate regular workouts into my routine, exploring various fitness disciplines through ClassPass classes. Additionally, I have set a personal goal to complete a Spartan Race Trifecta, pushing my limits and embracing the spirit of adventure. As Miss California, I am passionate about inspiring others to prioritize their health and discover the transformative power of fitness.

SISTERHOOD

The Miss America Organization has given me more than just a title – it has given me lifelong friendships and a sisterhood that extends beyond the crown. Through this incredible journey, I have connected with like-minded women who share the same values, dreams, and aspirations. The bonds formed within the Miss America sisterhood are truly special and have become an enduring support system as we navigate life's challenges and celebrate each other's successes.

SCHOLARSHIP

I am proud to have graduated Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Theatre and Cinema Television Arts, along with a minor in American Studies, from California State University Fullerton. My education has not only shaped me academically but also ignited a passion for giving back. Today, I am committed to sharing the knowledge I have gained by teaching the next generation of artists, empowering them to pursue their dreams and make a difference in the world.

STYLE

To me, style is more than just fashion trends – it is a powerful expression of confidence. As Miss California, I aim to inspire others to embrace their individuality and express themselves authentically through their personal style.  Working for the largest formal wear marketplace, Queenly, I am a firm believer that you don't have to spend a fortune to look like a queen!

Sustainable fashion is the future, so if you're looking to update your style with Queenly, use the code "KIM30" for $30 off your first purchase!

SERVICE

With a heart of service, I have surpassed my initial goal of 40 appearances this year, dedicating my time to various community initiatives and causes. As Miss California, I aspire to make an even greater impact by aiming to participate in five times that number of appearances. Together with my community, I believe we can create positive change, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.

SUCCESS

I embody a drive for success in all aspects of my life. Whether it's personal, educational, or professional endeavors, I consistently strive for excellence. From achieving the title of world champion in color guard to graduating Magna Cum Laude, I have embraced challenges and surpassed expectations. As Miss California, I am dedicated to inspiring others to fearlessly pursue their dreams and achieve remarkable success across all areas of their lives.

Why Miss America?

Did you know the Miss America Opportunity is one the largest scholarship providers for young women?

I was first introduced to the Miss America Opportunity in 2013 when I was sixteen years old. At my very first competition, I watched Crystal Lee be crowned, Miss Silicon Valley, and then followed her journey to becoming Miss California, and then 1st Runner Up at Miss America. Seeing Crystal and Nina Dalvuri, two incredibly accomplished Asian-American women, holding hands in that final moment at Miss America was a game-changing moment for me.

At that moment I realized how this organization serves as a catalyst in promoting strong, intelligent, and accomplished young women. As a titleholder within MAO, my mission is to inspire the next generation of leaders to show that it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, if you put in the work and lead with your heart, anything is possible; including becoming Miss America.
